Aaaaah, where do I begin?! If there were such thing as a luxurious children's book, Emma's books would all qualify. They are so detailed, intricate, well designed, cleverly written and beautifully constructed. This book is more than a story - it's an experience that has kids on the edge of their seat. They'll be ready to write their own letters when they need help or just need a friend. We can't wait for more from Emma Yarlett!

I absolutely love, love, love this book!  My copy just arrived and I'm trying my hardest to save it for my son's birthday in two weeks, but will say I have explored it multiple times already on my own!  The storyline is so adorable and the pictures are just so much fun, so vivid... I just know this is going to be a hit.  I truly cannot recommend this book enough!

So brilliantly done !! This story is so fun and creatively presented. Several times through the story you get to "open" a letter to continue the story. This could also be used to inspire creative writing.Emma Yarlett does not disappoint !

This book is ADORABLE. My son requests it nearly every day.  With cute and humorous letters, a boy learns how to take care of his dragon.  Each letter is unique and sure to please.  I was hesitant to let my kids look at the book unsupervised because I was worried the letters would get destroyed.  On the contrary, they have been exceedingly careful and even my 5 year old insists the letters be put back in their envelopes properly.  The letters do fit snugly which is actually a plus since I was initially  concerned they will fall out and get lost.

Definite crowd pleaser.  Don't think.  Buy!

My 8 year-old absolutely loved this book. With all the pull-outs, she was so involved and excited to read each one. She even got her 14 year-old brother to enjoy it with her too.

My 4 year old absolutely loves reading this book. He gets SO excited every time he gets to open a letter, and he has memorized them and enjoys “reading” them to me. It’s a great story and a really fun read!

Who wouldn't love to find secret letters hidden in little envelops in a book? I love the art in this book and the fact that you can take the letters out and read them. This is a great book to add to community service lessons as well as with a letter writing station. If your child is crazy about packages, mail, and postal workers this book is for you!

I made a big order recently, and this was the first thing my boys asked to read. They were not disappointed! This book is so fun. My 5 year old called the letters surprises. He loved them!

This book is great for my 7 yr old! The excitement he gets to open the letters and read them! I think this book should be in every childs home! I can't thank Usborne enough for turning my reluctant reader into a "want to read"er!!

I am so pleased with this book! The illustrations are cute. The story is fun to follow. The "post" that comes out of the envelopes are that little extra magic that's fun to share with your kids. I think we'll treasure this one for years to come.

The book overall is very sturdy and holds up well to removing and replacing all the letters in their envelopes.

We absolutely love this book at our house. My son is a dragon lover so I knew he would like it but my daughter who isn’t too into them asks for it to be read all the time. They also love the fact that they can pull out the letters and open them up to read.

My 3.5yo daughter loves this book! She asks to read it over and over. She likes to take the letters out of the envelopes herself, which is great fine motor practice. I also find the book funny and the illustrations adorable. It's extra special when books are interesting for parents & children!
