This was actually the first book in the series that we've read, and we NEED to get the others! My 5 year old daughter loves the colorful graphic illustrations and the humor, and I love the relatable story.

We love all the Billie and Mini Monsters titles. We read aloud to our 6 and 4 year old. This particular title caught me off guard with the spread on mummification. It’s a history topic my younger children are not ready for. I stumbled to explain in an age appropriate manner as they questioned the image of a person being stuffed; asking “What are they doing? Is that a real person?”. The illustrations are simple, not graphic, but enough to spark questions. Just a little heads up. As much as we love this series, this title will need to be put away until they’re a little bit older to understand this part of history. Still a fantastic series.
